Trek to Yomi: How to Stun Enemies
To stun enemies in Trek to Yomi, players will need to execute a three-input combination. On an Xbox controller that combination is X, X, Y, and it is Square, Square, Triangle on a PlayStation controller. Notably, samurai video game fans do not need to connect with all three of the strikes in the combo to inflict the stun, and they will be able to perform the finisher as soon as the adversary enters the dazed animation.

Trek to Yomi: How to Do Finishers
Performing a finisher is as simple as stunning an enemy and then pressing RB on an Xbox Controller or R1 on a PlayStation controller while standing near to them. Indeed, entering these inputs in proximity to a stunned foe will cause Hiroki to quickly execute them, and he will gain some life back in the process. This health regeneration is a very helpful bonus that should make it easier for players to fight their way between Shrines in Trek to Yomi.
Stuns and finishers are certainly not the only combat techniques that Hiroki has at his disposal, and, in fact, there are more of them to discover in the second chapter of Trek to Yomi. While it is possible to complete the game without mastering all of these techniques, they do serve to deepen the title’s combat. Advanced combos also shine when attempting to complete the game on its highest difficultly setting, which is a requirement for 100% completion.
Trek to Yomi players that have their sights set on 100% completion will also need to defeat several powerful foes without being hit. Again, stuns and other combat techniques can make it easier to do that, provided that the player has taken the time to learn how to properly incorporate those tools into their offense. That said, fans may also find success by simply crossing their fingers, spamming the attack button, and hoping for the best.
Trek to Yomi is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
